Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
Unsure about this. Two pretty even squads, with some fresh new faces to possibly start makes it difficult to call.

Hopefully it'll be a performance more alike the one at Palace, but after the disasterous defending against Southampton we'll probably set up quite cautiously.

Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
It will never be 2 up front away from home.I expect :

Adrian
Demel Reid Tomkins Cresswell

Downing Noble Kouyate Amafitano
Zarate
Sakho

Song, Valencia on the bench as BFS will say both still not fit enough.

BFS is always cautious and will introduce Valencia as he did Maiga. Sakho is more his type of player as he is more of a physical presence.

Song will be introduced slowly too and replace Kouyate not Noble. That would be the BFS thinking btw, not what most of us would do.

We can win this - only BFS will stop that from happening. COYI

Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
I'd probably say tomorrow will be a draw. I'd be very surprised to see us lose 3-0 like some are saying on here to be fair!

If we play with this team I can see a result coming our way:

Adrian

Jenkinson (Demel) Tomkins Reid Cresswell

Noble Song Kouyate

Downing Sakho Enner

I hate us losing to teams like Hull. I feel we should be beating teams like this.
Under BFS however I do not fancy us to be anyone.
You can throw as much money as you like at him but his dated and shit football ideas and tactics are well outdated.
Lose 3-1

Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
Why do I get the feeling, that even with all these new players and options, that we will still see the same old problems... inability to get and keep possession in midfield, and an inability to score goals?

I was patient with BFS for the first 3 seasons since I always saw him as a stop gap and thought he had done the job asked by getting and keeping us up. I also thought that he had never really had any real money to spend on a team, even at Bolton, and that he might be able to take us to a new level and show us another side of his managerial abilities with some real money to spend. He has, in my book, these first 8 - 10 games to prove it. That he can actually adapt and be more expansive. After the Crystal Palace game I thought maybe, but that Southampton game was a real wake up call. It pains me to say that I am now pretty convinced that those who claimed he is a one dimensional, one plan, one tactic manager were absolutely right. :-(

3-0 Hull. These are the types of game. Where you think you can get something. And you do.!

A real pasting.

Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
We do not do well away (even at home) against teams like Hull. Like others are saying, with so many new players there is more of an unknown factor than usual but you just know that Bruce will likely have his players clicking into his systems and tactics than Sam with ours.

The interesting thing for me is that midfield and particularly the central areas where we have been dominated for possession for so long even predating BFS's reign. We need a strong midfield to retain possession and on paper, we appear to have that although who exactly is the defensive midfielder or best suited to the role? Noble does not have the legs, physique etc... and most will say it has to be Koyoute but I do not think that is his natural inclination. He likes to get forward at every opportunity. Song is the same from what I recall? That said, if we dominate in the central areas, keep the bloody ball and move it at pace with plenty of movement we may not be so reliant on having a deep lying midfielder. But against Southampton many of us predicted, and it came true, that we would be overrun in there and struggle with their passing and movement.

Any away game is tough so even if we play well, we need a ref to not be too much of a "homer", we need the players to not be too reckless to keep 11 on the pitch and we need, ironically, to do what BFS did bring before which is defensive resilience and discipline. Draw at best but like Texas I expect another defeat 1-0 :-(

Vaz TE won't start I'm guessing he won't be on the bench with amilfanto starting....

I'm hoping sakho or Valencia starts instead of cole

Fuck it...

2-1 to us and a much-needed boost after depressing defeats to Sheff Utd and Southampton in the space of a week...

4th defeat in 5 I'm afraid. Hope I'm wrong as the Dildo twins won't change anything but sadly, can't see much positive based on our last two.

If Hull had not of strengthened like they did on the last day (Hernandez, Ramirez, Diame, Ben Arfa) I would of said we had a very good chance. Think Hull will win.

Ur???

My guess is 3-0 to Hull. All goals after 60 minute.

After 60 minutes Hull are reduced to 10 men, and BFS makes a tactical sub replacing zarate with demel.
Standing ovations for BFS for leading our beloved Hammers into oblivion with his managerial superskill

Terry that is wishful thinking (Sam going), even if we do lose the next 3 games I still don't think the board would sack him. The sooner we we all get used to the idea he is with us until next summer, the better.

Re: Hull vs West Ham - ur predictions
I can see us losing the next three games, and a new manager being appointed on 29 September, the day Tomkins gets cleared of the trumped up charges. We will be in the bottom three but the future will look rosy without that fat bastard ruining the club.
